Julie and
Russell Morrow are the owners of Doriette Farm. They purchased the
18 acre property in 2001 and have since built a home on site. The
farm has been a gradual progression which started out with horses and
then branched into goats. Given a free fertilizer supply the next
logical step was growing produce. Any produce that's not
immediately sold or consumed is preserved for later use in the form of
hot sauces, tomato sauces, pickled okra/green beans/green
tomatoes/squash, etc. The abundant supply of herbs and botanicals
on the farm provide inspiration for our handcrafted soaps and bath
products.
Julie Morrow
- barn manager/webmaster/baker/soap artist
Julie is responsible for all equine-related activities on the
farm and has 10 years experience riding/showing horses.
As a former IT consultant, Julie possesses the necessary skills to
maintain the farm website. She is also responsible for all farm
bookkeeping in addition to picking/packaging the farm produce.
When she's not engaged in the above activities you can probably find her
trail riding or experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes for baked
goods or bath treats.

Russell
Morrow - farm manager/groundskeeper
Russell manages the overall farm operations. In addition to being
a full-time mechanical engineer, he is responsible for landscaping,
gardening, pasture management and all goat-related activities on the
farm. Russell is also an excellent cook and has future plans to
open a restaurant on the farm. His goal is to supply the
restaurant with as much fresh, organic produce as we can grow here on
the farm.
